Barnehurst Infant School

Barnehurst Infant School joined the Primary First Trust in November 2013.  It is currently graded Outstanding and has some of the highest achieving early years, phonics and KS1 outcomes in the local authority.  As a founding member of the PFT it has provided extensive leadership capacity ensuring enormous transitionary support. Barnehurst Junior School

Has been graded Outstanding.  In 2010 it had been in special measures when Mr Smith was first appointed as Executive Head Teacher.  In 2013 it was a founding member of the Primary First Trust and has massively improved children’s outcomes. Cuxton Infant School

Joined the Primary First Trust in September 2014.  As a good school it was looking to support other schools locally and wanted the structure from the PFT to enable it to achieve the next stage in its development.  See the school website for more details:  http://www.cuxtonschools.co.uk/

 

Cuxton Junior School

Joined the Primary First Trust in September 2014.  At the time the school was in special measures.  It is now graded Good with children achieving their highest outcomes for six years, 12 months after being within the Trust.  Prior to conversion the support of the Trust was praised in the school’s HMI Report. Lessness Heath Primary School

Joined the Primary First Trust in April 2015.  In May 2016 their children’s outcomes were above national averages in every key area for the first time in five years.  The trajectory for the school remains strong with leadership being a particular strength.  See the school website for more details:  https://lessnessheath-bexley.co.uk/

 

 

Mayplace Primary School

Joined the Primary First Trust in September 2014 as a Requires Improvement School.  It is currently graded Good with many Outstanding features.  Its outcomes for children have risen significantly and consistently since joining The Primary First Trust.  It has provided leadership and associate support throughout the Trust.  See the school website for more details:  https://mayplace-bexley.secure-dbprimary.com/bexley/primary/mayplace

 

 

Wayfield Primary School

Joined the Primary First Trust in September 2016 as a special measures school, re-brokered from another MAT.  Whilst its Ofsted report makes for very concerning reading, initial indicators are that the systems and processes of the Trust will ensure that the children receive a significant up-lift in the quality of their education.
